Quantity Requirements
This tru oil product is a 90mL (3oz) bottle. Although it might seems a very small quantity, if you're wood is well prepared and you have some experience, this is enough to do both your neck and your body. With this quantity you can do more than 14 coats for the neck wood and body wood. If you are note sure or you dont have too much experience you can use our 240mL (8oz) bottle instead. This will be more than enough.
Tru-Oil Preparation and Application
Our Tru-Oil is ready to use; a gentle shake is all it needs. Applying it is a straightforward process. Use a cloth or brush to spread it evenly in a circular motion across your guitar wood. Thin layers are recommended to prevent dripping and achieve a uniform distribution. Allow 8 to 12 hours between coats for the best results. To achieve an impeccable finish, consider applying between 8 to 14 coats, depending on the wood's preparation. With each new layer, the wood will gain a glossy sheen and a slightly darker hue. Some experienced users even opt for more coats to further enhance the finish.
