Tru Oil 90mL (3oz), Guitar Finish
90mL (3oz) of tru-oil for the last coats of finish on your DiY guitar kit. This will provide very nice wood type finish and are very easy to apply. You can use it with all our product dye , color lacquer to get the result you want. It will highlight the previous coat or the grain of the wood itself if you have choose to use dyes or have choose a natural finish. Although it is a flammable prodcut, it can be applied safely in your homes, garage, storage room without protection.

Tru Oil can replace the varnish coats during the last step of the painting of your guitar kit. It permits to provide a nice design and protect also your guitar. Apply several layers of tru-oil on your guitar kit so that your electric guitar will last over time. The top coats with oil or varnish are the most important finishing step and can be seen as mandatory.

Our selected tru oil is compatible with all our finishin products as well as our grain filler and polish pastes.
TRU OIL QUANTITY NEEDED.
This tru oil product is a 90mL (3oz) bottle. Although it might seems a very small quantity, if you're wood is well prepared and you have some experience, this is enough to do both your neck and your body. With this quantity you can do more than 14 coats for the neck wood and body wood. If you are note sure or you dont have too much experience you can use our 240mL (8oz) bottle instead. This will be more than enough.
TRU OIL PREPARATION AND APPLICATION.Our Tru-oil is ready to be applied, just shake it slightly and it is good to go. The application is also very simple. Use a cloth or a brush and apply it in a circular way on your guitar wood. Apply thin layer to avoid any drip and get a homogeneous distribution and wait between 8 to 12 hours between coats. For a good finish you should do between 8 to 14 coats depending on how prepared si your wood. With each new coat the wood will become shinier and slightly darker. Some usersapply even more coats.
